FOR COACHES

Coach the roster, not the spreadsheet.

Build plan templates once, apply them per athlete, and read adherence, load and nutrition across everyone you coach. On the web, where the spreadsheets used to be.

THE PROBLEM

Your plan is not the problem.

Coaches rarely lose athletes because the programming was wrong. They lose them in the gap between writing the plan and knowing whether anyone did it.

That gap is usually a spreadsheet, a messaging app and a memory. The plan goes out on Sunday, the check in happens on Friday, and the four days in between are invisible. By the time you find out an athlete has been skipping the long run, you have written three more weeks on top of the assumption that they were not.

Paceo closes the gap by putting the plan and the evidence in the same place. What you wrote and what they did sit on one calendar, and the roster view tells you which athlete to look at before they tell you themselves.

Training plans

Build a block once as a template, then apply it to an athlete and let it land on their calendar with real dates. Edit the template, not fourteen copies of it.

Diet plans

Calorie and macro targets as a document you write and hand over, with meals attached where they matter and the rest left to the athlete.

Programs

Sessions and meals in one plan, each slot carrying its own time of day, so a training block and the eating around it arrive together.

A calendar per athlete

Every planned and completed session, side by side, on one screen. Open a day to read what actually happened rather than what was scheduled.

Adherence and load

Who did the work, who quietly stopped, and how much load each athlete is carrying. The questions you currently answer by scrolling a spreadsheet.

Nutrition, if they share it

The food diary is opt in per athlete. Turn it on and you see the meal by meal day; leave it off and you see nothing. Their call, not yours.

HOW IT WORKS

Four steps to a live roster.

  1. 01Invite your athletesSend an invite by email. They sign in with a one time code, connect Apple Health, and their training starts flowing into your roster.
  2. 02Build your templatesWrite the blocks and diets you already have in your head or your spreadsheet. Templates live in your account and are reusable across everyone you coach.
  3. 03Apply and adjustApply a template to an athlete and it becomes their calendar. From there the app keeps their fuel and readiness in step, and you keep the coaching judgement.
  4. 04Read the rosterCheck adherence and load across everyone in one view, then go deep on the one athlete who needs you this week.
WHERE THE APP HELPS

The daily work you should not be doing.

You are worth your judgement, not your data entry. The parts of coaching that are arithmetic belong to the app.

Your athlete slept five hours and their HRV is down twelve percent. You do not need to be told that at nine in the morning, and neither do they need to wait for you to answer. The app moves the intervals, keeps the long run where it was, and tells them why.

The same goes for fuel. Calorie and macro targets follow the training load you wrote, rising on hard days and falling on rest days, so nobody is eating for a five session week during a taper. When the plan changes enough that the standing target no longer fits, the athlete is asked rather than silently rewritten.

QUESTIONS

Common questions.

What does the coach side run on?
The web, at paceo.co. Your athletes use the iPhone app, you use the browser. That split is deliberate: roster work is a desk job and a phone is a bad place to do it.
Do my athletes still get the AI plan?
Yes, and the two do not fight. When you apply a plan it becomes the athlete's calendar, and the daily readiness adjustment works inside what you wrote rather than replacing it.
Can I see what my athletes eat?
Only if they turn it on. Nutrition sharing is an opt in per athlete. When it is on you get their meal by meal diary and their calorie and macro targets; when it is off you see nothing at all.
Can I reuse a plan across several athletes?
That is the point of templates. Build a four week block once, apply it to as many athletes as you like, and adjust per person from there. You are not copying sessions by hand.
What sports does it cover?
Run, ride, swim and strength, planned against one weekly load. Sessions are structured to the interval, so a threshold set you write arrives on the athlete's wrist with its targets intact.
How do I get started?
Apply from this page. You create your account with a one time code, tell us who you coach, and we answer by email. Once you are approved, the roster, templates and athlete calendars appear in the left rail.

Bring your roster somewhere it can be read.

Applying is free and takes a minute. A person reads every application, usually within a couple of days.
